DSPORT: So, tell us about yourself.
Michelle: I was born in Thousand Oaks, California. Everyone swears I look Asian, but I'm actually Mexican, Polish, German, Irish, and French. My mom is Mexican and my dad is everything else.
DSPORT: We agree. You look Asian. You were probably adopted. Tell us about how you ended up modeling.
Michelle: I've been modeling for about three years now. My parents, they are my real parents by the way (laughing), are in the printing business. One of their clients came into the office, noticed my picture and wanted me to model jeans for a catalog. This led to more print work. I also did a TV commercial for Doritos. Recently, I traveled across the West Coast with Hankook for the 2010 Formula Drift season.
DSPORT: Have you been anywhere more exotic than the West Coast?
Michelle: Just to Hawaii. It's amazingly beautiful there. In the future, I hope to travel to many more beautiful places around the world.
DSPORT: With travel usually comes great food, what is your favorite?
Michelle: I love all kinds of food. Eating is one of my top three favorite things to do, but I would probably have to say authentic Mexican food is my favorite. Shout out to my Grandma!
DSPORT: So we understand that you are an esthetician. That means that you perform facials, body treatments and waxing. Is this something you like or just something that you do?
Michelle: I really enjoy it. I became obsessed with skin as a teen so I've been in the skin care business for about seven years now.
DSPORT: To provide fair warning to our readers, what girls are the hairiest? What should we be on the lookout for to spot a Yeti in disguise?
Michelle: (Laughing) I don't know. Maybe if they have the last name Kardashian or something.
DSPORT: Any other hobbies or interests?
Michelle: I just started taking a self defense class… and I like cooking, wine tasting and just hanging out.
DSPORT: As far as boyfriend material goes, what would you think about a guy that couldn't drive stick?
Michelle: Oh God (looking at Tim). I mean, I think. I think you don't have to drive stick to be a good driver. It's kind of a hassle to drive stick in traffic.
DSPORT: Interesting. So you are not a girl that likes real men? Let's pretend you like guys... what would you think about a guy that couldn't drive stick?
Michelle: Wait. What? I do like guys. I'm just not going to give the answer that you want.
DSPORT: We wished you would have told Tim the truth, but tell us about your car? Is it something exotic? A Ferrari?
Michelle: A Ferrari? I drive a piece of crap VW Jetta. Every warning light that could possibly be on is on in my car. And the transmission, when it switches gears, it feels like someone kicked the back of my car. I'm probably lucky that I made it to the studio today.
DSPORT: What's your game plan for now and the future?
Michelle: Being 22, I'm more focused on modeling, but since skin care is my passion, I can definitely fall back on it, especially when I'm older and modeling is not an option anymore.
DSPORT: So what happened with your Import Tuner shoot? You never got paid? Never got any issues of your cover either?
Michelle: They told me I could either get magazines or get paid. Since it was my first big shoot, I chose to get the magazines. In the end, I never got the magazines and I never got paid. I had to buy two copies of the issue on the newsstand, so I'd have some.
DSPORT: We're sure it was just a cost-saving effort at Import Tuner and nothing personal. Parting words?
Michelle: I've been trying to get on the cover of DSPORT for a while, so now I'm really happy. Thank you DSPORT!
