The Bottom Line
The MAZDASPEED3’s MZR engine shines when adding simple bolt-on modifications. We spent a little over $1,400 and we were able to extract 32.1 horsepower and 27.17 lb-ft of torque at the wheels. Now, this MAZASPEED3 is making nearly 322 horsepower at the flywheel. In addition to another round of upgrades, we plan on taking this MAZDASPEED3 to local Redline Time Attack events to see how it fares against the competition. Stay tuned.
