Hailing from "The Rainy City", this month's First Date loves Orange (soda) pop, Leo Di Caprio and traveling to a galaxy far, far away. Her balanced appetite for food and working out keeps her fit and fine. When she's in the mix on her Serato, people know her as DJ Glo, but beware of the magic fingers of the lovely Miss Gloria Touch.
DSPORT: Welcome to your First Date with DSPORT, why don't you give us a little introduction.
Gloria: Hi! I'm Gloria Touch from Seattle, Washington.
DSPORT: How did you get into modeling?
Gloria: I first got into modeling through D List Magazine. After getting featured, promotional companies and other photographers began contacting me to do modeling. Since then, I've just been modeling and getting my name out there.
DSPORT: Was that your first gig?
Gloria: Funny story about that, my first promotional modeling gig was actually at a bar for a vodka company. The Vodka company didn't know it was a gay bar. I get there and there are guys in booty shorts dancing around everywhere. One of the employee's comes out to greet me and just looked at me in kind of disgust and says, "Hold on a minute, I'll be right back." So he comes back and says, "I'm sorry honey, I'm going to have to tell you to go home, we wanted men here." I still got paid for it, but that was my first gig.
DSPORT: One of the few instances where your looks didn't prevail I see. So you've been interested in modeling for a while?
Gloria: I've wanted to model since I was a little girl, I used to wear a shirt in elementary school that said "don't laugh, I might be Miss America someday." People got a good laugh, but who's on the cover of DSPORT now? (laughing)
DSPORT: Aside from being ridiculously good looking, we hear you're actually kind of a big deal as a DJ. How did that all come about?
Gloria: I love DJing and the music, and I'm actually a resident DJ at a club in Seattle. One day I just decided to go to Guitar Center and buy everything for DJing. It's just a lot of fun and it's what I do in my spare time. I started loading my mixes onto SoundCloud and people actually listened to them. I just play what I love and what I know is going to get everyone out there dancing and having a good time.
DSPORT: So what do you do when you're not modeling or DJing?
Gloria: Well, in the wintertime I love to go snowboarding. I'm also an artist, so I like to paint and draw. I work out a lot too, but that's because I like to eat a lot, ha ha. I can out eat most guys, I look tiny, but my stomach can digest A LOT.
DSPORT: What's this nonsense we hear about you being the Olympic gold medalist of the children's game "Mercy"?
Gloria: Not one person has beaten me at a game of Mercy, not even a guy! I even played a military guy once and even he couldn't beat me. There's no secret to it, my fingers are just like magic.
DSPORT: Well thank you for hanging out with us today, I'm sure our readers would all like to give you a run for your money at the game of Mercy. Any parting words?
Gloria: To all my family, friends, and fans out there THANK YOU for all your support. If you want to find more about me, you can follow me on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
