R1 Concepts offers its new two-piece replacement brake rotor for the R35 Nissan GT-R. This direct replacement two-piece rotor helps provide consistent stopping power using the factory calipers with no modification required. Manufactured with high carbon, the R1 R-Series rotor offers increased braking performance and strength when paired with high-performance brake pads. A center split core casting provides greater stability and mill balancing with double disc grinding to reduce thickness variations for smoother stopping, minimal vibration and improved break-in. Directional vanes improve cooling to help prevent warping at extreme temperatures. The aluminum hat reduces weight and adds good looks. The two-piece rotor design also allows the rotor ring to expand and contract freely under extreme temperatures. The replaceable rotor ring also helps lower replacement costs down the road.
