Takeda tested the cold air intake and witnessed an improvement of 33-percent additional airflow and an increase of 13 horsepower and 13 lb-ft of torque on a Dynojet dyno. The kit features a unique one-piece CAD-designed roto-molded housing made from heat soak resistant material. The kit’s housing is transparent, allowing you to clearly view the air filter. This allows for quick filter inspection without the removal of the air box. The kit utilizes a pre-oiled, 7.5-inch tall, conical air filter with five layers of progressive finer mesh cotton media to provide maximum airflow and performance. Customers can also opt for a dry filter option. All clamps and hardware are included for hassle-free installation. This is a direct bolt-on kit that requires no cutting or drilling on factory parts.
