The car show battle continues, now with Netflix choosing to stream the revamped Top Gear series. Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos revealed in a recent interview that the show will be available for streaming, as it falls under the existing deal between the BBC and Netflix. The timeline for when episodes will go online is still unknown, but we expect that the BBC will be promoting aggressively and early, especially considering that former Top Gear hosts Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond’s new car series is airing soon on Amazon Prime Video. Although many of us will miss the original Top Gear trio, the trailer for the new series with an all-new cast shows promise.
In the meantime, filming has already started for the unnamed Amazon Prime Video car series, starring Clarkson, May and Hammond. However, the three are having some trouble figuring out a title, Clarkson even recently asked for ideas on Twitter. What do you think the show should be titled?
