Over 1,000 horsepower, comprehensive and classy. Danny Young’s twin-turbocharged NSX is exactly that, earning a spot in the Top 10. He left no stone unturned in the pursuit of the ultimate street NSX. The midship-mounted C30A V6 gets a boost from a pair of turbochargers to eclipse the 1,000 horsepower mark. S u s p e n s i o n , brakes, wheels, aerodynamics, no  facet of this jewel remained untouched. Yet even with the amount of detail that went into the car, Danny can daily drive the NSX without issue. This is without a doubt, the cleanest and meanest NSX on the road.

Danny takes performance seriously, investing in Speedline Ferrari Challenge magnesium wheels for the NSX. Overkill? Compared to the rest of the build, it’s just right.

UPDATE
Bill Daly built a dry sump system for the NSX in anticipation of competing in 2011. The engine was rebuilt, the internals were WPC treated and the heads were ported. Inconel wrapped headers and turbochargers contain the exhaust heat and Danny reports that the turbos now spool much faster. Inside the transmission, the gears were WPC treated and a Carbonetic LSD was added. On the dyno, the NSX now produces 1,100 at the wheels.
