Invite Only A small group of lucky enthusiasts were invited to the Honda Headquarters in Torrance, California for an exclusive S2000 event. On September 12, 2015, the S2ki community held the third and final S2ki Homecoming event. The event began in 2007 as a tribute to the Honda S2000 and its Project Leader, Shigeru Uehara. The second event was held in 2010 and since then plans have been in the works for Homecoming 3. World Challenge Here We Come When DSPORT was presented with the opportunity to get behind the wheel of a racecar in The Pirelli World Challenge, we went all in. May 2, 2015 – The 20th anniversary of Toyotafest was held at the Queen Mary Events Park in Long Beach, CA. The Toyota Owner’s and Restorer’s Club (T.O.R.C.), an organization aimed at the enthusiast of all Toyota vehicles, started Toyatafest two decades ago with roughly 20 attendees at Moonlight State Beach in Carlsbad, CA. Eleven years ago, Ryan Hoegner from Eibach Springs and Matt “Rodrez” Rodriguez from Schiefer Media started the first Eibach meet in Corona, CA. Little did they know what this meet would one day blossom into. It started with roughly 50 cars. Now, you would be lucky if you could show your car at the event. May 9, 2015 – Over a thousand people gathered to attend the Extreme Dimensions 9th Annual Charity Car Show in Fullerton, CA. It was a perfect day to be outdoors and the caliber of cars that were on display didn’t disappoint. The event consisted of live music, gourmet food trucks, raffle giveaways, vendors, as well as trophies. Extreme Dimensions were also giving a massive 30% off body kits. Just as the fall signals the end of the summer, it also concludes the motorsports events season. Hence, the IDRC drew some of the quickest racers out to Auto Club Dragway in Fontana, California on Octover 18-19, 2014, for the 2014 IDRC International Finals. For the past four years, BLOX has held its Open House event in Northern California to bring enthusiasts, fans and the industry together for a summer gathering. Forecasts with a 40% chance of thunderstorms, tornado warnings and a thick morning cloud would usually spell disaster for any outdoor event. Fortunately, Colorado’s import performance enthusiasts don’t consider the IDRC Street Tuner Mayhem just any outdoor event. The annual one-day event that features IDRC drag racing, the INSTAFAME car show and burnout contest has become the place to be in the first week of June.
