Overview: Blitz’ Advanced Power Air Cleaner provides the shortest and least restrictive design of the intakes tested. It does not rely on manipulation of airflow around the AFM or augmentation of the signals to the ecu. Horsepower gains on the stock ecu tune are minimal, while torque production is improved in the middle of the power band and again at the top. ECU tuning on the dyno produced better results across the board. Torque production improved dramatically from 3,700 RPM to the 7,200 RPM redline. This is one intake system that definitely needs a reflash for peak performance.

Peak Results- HP: +6.97 @ 7100 RPM TQ: +3.63 @ 4750 RPM

Max Gains- HP: +10.30 @ 4300 RPM TQ: +12.58 @ 4300 RPM

Tech Notes: Power gains on the stock tune are minimal and not very pronounced until the very end of the RPM range. After tuning with the EcuTek the Blitz Advanced Power Air Cleaner is able to produce good mid-range power and near uniform gains through the top of the curve.
